Our Work

Each project tells its own story. We've been lucky enough to work with some incredible clients who trusted us to bring their visions to life - from cozy laneway homes to sprawling commercial spaces that actually make you want to go to work.

Kitsilano Passive House

Kitsilano Passive House

This one's close to my heart - a net-zero energy home that doesn't sacrifice style for efficiency. The clients were adamant about maintaining that classic Vancouver West Side vibe while hitting Passive House standards. We pulled it off with triple-glazed windows hidden behind traditional frames and a smart ventilation system that you'd never know was there.

Converting an old warehouse into a collaborative workspace was trickier than we thought. Keeping the exposed brick and timber beams while meeting modern building codes meant getting creative. The result? A 12,000 sq ft space where startups actually want to hang out past 5pm.

When you've got views like this, the architecture needs to step back and let nature do its thing. We designed this place to basically disappear - floor-to-ceiling glass, minimal frames, and a cantilevered deck that makes you feel like you're floating above the water. The homeowners joke that they forget where the house ends and the ocean begins.

Richmond Green Office Complex

Richmond Green Office Complex

LEED Platinum isn't easy, especially when you're working with a tight budget. We integrated solar panels into the facade design so they're actually part of the aesthetic rather than an afterthought. Plus, a green roof that reduces stormwater runoff and keeps the building cooler in summer.

Mount Pleasant Renovation

Mount Pleasant Renovation

Sometimes it's not about building new - it's about respecting what's already there. This 1920s character home needed a serious update without losing its soul. We opened up the main floor, added skylights that flood the space with natural light, and kept all the original fir floors and trim work.

Restaurant design is all about flow - both for guests and staff. We carved out this intimate 65-seat space using reclaimed timber from a demolished warehouse in Gastown. The owner wanted something that felt like it'd been there forever, so we incorporated tons of vintage elements alongside modern touches like LED accent lighting and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

Dunbar Laneway Home

Laneway homes are having a moment in Vancouver, and for good reason. This 850 sq ft unit packs a ton of living into a small footprint. We used every trick in the book - vaulted ceilings, strategic windows for cross-ventilation, and built-in storage that doesn't eat up floor space. The couple living here swears it feels twice the size.

Retail's tough these days - you need to give people a reason to leave their couch and actually visit. We designed this space to be an experience, not just a store. Custom millwork, dramatic lighting, and flexible displays that can be reconfigured for different seasons. The heritage building constraints actually pushed us to be more creative.

Whistler Mountain Retreat

Whistler Mountain Retreat

Building in the mountains comes with its own challenges - heavy snow loads, extreme temperatures, and wildlife to consider. This retreat balances rugged durability with modern comfort. Steel and concrete where it counts, warm wood interiors, and massive windows framing those ridiculous mountain views. It's built to last generations.

East Vancouver Infill

East Vancouver Infill

Infill housing done right. We squeezed this duplex onto a lot that everyone said was too narrow. The key was going vertical and getting creative with outdoor space - rooftop decks, a shared courtyard, and planters integrated into the facade. Both units sold before construction even finished.

Healthcare spaces need to feel calm, not clinical. We brought in natural materials, added plenty of natural light, and created distinct zones that flow together seamlessly. The staff tells us patient anxiety levels dropped noticeably after the redesign - that's the kind of feedback that makes this work worthwhile.

Working within an existing condo structure is like solving a puzzle with pieces you can't change. We gutted the interior and reconfigured everything - opened up walls where we could, added a floating staircase to the rooftop patio, and created custom millwork that maximizes every inch. The before-and-after photos still blow my mind.
